What should you consider when selecting a hair extension company or training program?

There are very important cost factors that you should be aware of when deciding to train for hair extensions.

1.  Determine what the market is for hair extension services in your area.  If you live in an area where people aren't willing to pay more than $10 for a hair cut, chances are you will not get very many hair extension clients.  This is not always the case. Hair Extensions can be expensive, costing the client $500 + up, depending on the method.

2.  Find out if there are other hair extension stylists in your area.  Find out what method they offer and what they are charging.  

3. Ask around to see if any hair extension clients in your area have complaints or praises about hair extensions in general.  Here you can create your competitive advantage.  If consumers complain it costs way to much--you need to find a method that is more affordable but still offers the same quality hair extensions.
